Habitat: Grows in meadows, in hedgerows and other grassy places
Uses: Common Hogweed or Cow Parsnip is not poisonous. It is best to avoid it unless you are sure it is not Giant Hogweed. The sap of the Giant Hogweed is toxic and can cause severe reactions on skin which has touched it, and this is made worse if the skin is exposed to sunlight.
