Ballinacree Historical Society was started in 1999 with an objective of collecting the history, heritage and folklore of the of Ballinacree area.

Family: Plantaginaceae
Habitat: Grows in still and slow-flowing water and at the margins of lakes
Uses: Has some medical uses
